One of the types of wallpaper we use is a non-woven wallpaper. Below some more information about this kind of wallpaper.
What exactly is 'non-woven' wallpaper. I hear this term often.
Non-woven wallpaper, also popularly referred to as quick wallpaper, is a type of wallpaper with a top layer of paper or vinyl. The reverse side of the wallpaper, also called the back by professionals, of non-woven, non-woven. It also bears the name quick wallpaper because this wallpaper can be applied to a wall without having to be smeared with wallpaper glue or without any waiting time. The glue is applied to the wall itself, which of course is easier during processing than having to drag wet sheets of wallpaper from wallpaper to the wall.
The advantages of non-woven wallpaper
There are many advantages to using non-woven wallpaper:
The first advantage is, as stated, that non-woven wallpaper is easier to apply than many other wallpapers. You don't need a wallpaper table. You apply the glue to the wall and place the non-woven wallpaper against it. To be honest, it does require some practice to stick everything neatly right on the wall, so if you have never done it yourself before, we recommend you call in a specialist, or if you try it yourself, at least take the time to finish the job!
Non-woven wallpaper also does not shrink after applying to the wall and will hardly show a bubble if you apply enough glue to the wall. Even if you move it after placing it against the wall. Especially with wallpaper that fits exactly and does not overlap, such as with our wallpaper, that is a big plus.
Non-woven wallpaper is also stronger than traditional wallpaper. Where with paper wallpaper you have to be careful not to tear it, this is a lot less easy with non-woven wallpaper.
Non-woven wallpaper is quick and easy to remove. Traditional wallpaper often has to be steamed, while non-woven wallpaper can usually be removed dry. The underlying wall will also suffer less damage than with traditional wallpaper. Whether or not this works depends on the quality of the wall.
